What we keep when you get in touch, and why.

Who we are

bywho (createdbywho), a creative studio in Cape Town. We're responsible for what you share with us. Reach us at info@createdbywho.co.za.

What we collect

When you book a discovery call: your name and email, and if you add them, your phone number, company, the service you're after and your message. We also note the page you sent it from, any campaign tags in the link that brought you here, and when you agreed to be contacted.

Why

To reply, set up the call, and follow up on what you asked about. That's it. We don't sell it, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking first.

Where it lives

In Groundwork, our own client management system, hosted on Supabase in Ireland. That's outside South Africa, and you agree to that when you send the form. If you book a time, Google Calendar handles the booking. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is on WhatsApp.

How long

For as long as we're talking about working together and following up. After that we delete it, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email info@createdbywho.co.za. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, the Information Regulator will hear the complaint.

The website itself

Cookies are covered in the cookie policy. Beyond that, the typeface loads from Fontshare and the site is hosted on Vercel; both see your IP address the way any website does, and neither sets cookies here.
